Buckets w/ Column Shift?

Does anyone know if a column shift with buckets (instead of bench) was available for a '70 CS?

You had to pay extra for a console even if you ordered buckets if you wanted a floor shift. Same thing if buckets were standard equipment. Shift on the column if no console ordered.

Strato buckets were standard on the 70 supreme. And as others have said if no sport console was ordered you got the column shift.

And conversely, if you opted for the A65 split bench seat (at no extra cost) with center armrest, the D55 option was not available so the car had to come with a column shifter.

Hey, nothing wrong with brevity. When you ask some people what time it is they tell you how to build a watch. 😅
