American Cushion Industries (ACI) is the only one you want. Make sure you ask the vendor if they don't specify what brand they sell.

National Parts depot sells it, as does Legendary. Not sure which other vendors do.

When I had my seats done, I bought the Legendary. I had my trim shop do the work, and he advised no if, ands or buts about it to buy the Original, NOT the reproduction. The original cost about $75 more, but he said it was easier to install, looked much better and held up much better than the repro. My seats came out great and still look great 4 years later. Legendary sells both.

You are referring to original style buns vs the Rallye (large bolster) style.

They are all reproductions.

The Legendary Rallye, and TMI Sport seat covers/buns are a completely different animal from stock style. I've done a couple of these and am not a fan.

The ACI Buns I mentioned are stock style, and the best on the market. They are the correct density and softness (very soft). They have a mesh backing on them, and have the cloth pre-glued to them that is used to install to the springs.

Original Parts Group sells their own "house brand" of foam, PUI makes one, and TMI sells still another.
Unfortunately, These are all incredibly stiff and hard to work with, and in most cases result in the rider sitting up way too high.
Many of the ebay sellers sell one of these three, with no brand or origin information, and the prices are all over the board.
When customers bring any these to me I refuse to use them. They are junk IMO

ACI buns have the words "American Cushion Industries" stenciled right onto the foam. If it doesn't have that- pass.

Using the right seat foam is probably the single most important thing in rebuilding bucket seats.
