I picked this car up Saturday. I really did not want to buy it but it came with lots of NOS parts I wanted for the Jetfire. He would not sell the parts separate and there is some crazy rare stuff so now I am the owner of another 62. The hood, trunk lid, doors, and much of the parts are already painted, it just needs the body painted. I plan to loosely assemble much of the body and then sell it with all the trim and parts that came off of it. It does run. Should make a nice project for someone.

 

That looks like a nice find. You really seem to have a good pulse for finding these early cars.
Good luck with your plans I'm sure you and the next guy will have a good time. Even I'm having fun looking at these 62 and 63's. They never seemed to previously cross my radar.

 

When I first got into them in 2011 you never heard anyone messing with them. Now I see them pop up all the time. Parts are scarce for them but sure are fun cars to play with.
