62 Cutlass project car
SOLD
I am hopping to sell this car to someone that will complete it. It is a big project but has the potential to be a nice driver. I did fire the engine up but it was leaking gas so I shut it down. The doors, trunk lid, hood, and front fenders are very nice parts. The body has had lots of metal fab work and looks like fairly nice work but I am not a body guy. This work was done in the 90's and sit unfinished since. I believe I have nearly everything to put the car back together. It is a bucket seat console automatic with power steering. I still need to get interior pictures. Not sure I can get what I want and if not I will have to part this car out.
I got the car with the body parts all off. I installed them but only a quick job and not lining anything up. I just wanted to keep them all together and not have to store them separate.
$2500 firm

It is not a Jetfire. It is a 4 bbl Cutlass. I have all the glass and I believe all the trim is there. Everything should be there but I am sure there could be a couple parts missing. All the interior trim I know is there. If it were a Jetfire I would likely be doing the car myself.

I would sure hate to part it out. If it is not gone by winter I will have to pull out the interior and let it sit outside. I need the space. I need the space now

Well, I hate to say it but for now I have to pull this car back off the market. There are some parts on this car that I need and if I sell it I will have a very hard time finding replacements. None of my parts cars have them so if I can't find something soon I will be forced to part this car out. These parts don't grow on trees so I simply can't let the parts I need go.

That's a damn shame that someone got that far along on this car and had to let it go. I'm sure it goes w/out saying, but I'm gonna say it: thank you for saving those Jetfires, and also for taking into consideration that you'd still like to save this car from being parted out if you can.

I will still sell this car but will be missing two of the parts. The area behind the headlights (not the headlight assemblies) will not be included with the car. I have used ones that will need a little work that will be included. I just can't let these parts go when I need them. I have lowered the price to $2500 because of this. I will not go lower than that because the parts are worth more and I may find something else I need. I don't like the thought of this car getting parted out but I fear that is what will happen. It is still a major project even though major work is already done.
