broadcast sheet info

Does anyone know what the last 2 fields on the '69 broadcast sheets are under "Ident No"? They are fields 14 and 15. Field 14 looks like an option # (a letter and then 2 digits) while field 15 is 3 digits. Just curious . . .

Hi Frank,

That number on your broadcast card for your 69 identifies the Dealer " Order Number " for the vehicle. This number would also be located in the top right hand corner of your window sticker and identified on other factory documentation.

Does the letter in your order number start with the letter K? (Kxx xxx)
Just curious

I have only seen the Dealer "Order Number" on broadcast cards for 1968 and 1969.

In 1970, the Dealer "Order Number" does appear on the window sticker and is identified on other factory documentation but is NOT called out on the broadcast card.

1971 and 1972 is the same as 1970. I do not know about the other years.

Cheers,
Sam

Cool. Yes, mine starts with K30. Some significance to that? There was a broadcast card for another car in mine also (with a sequence # 17 later than mine) that started with B12

Thanks!

the "K"xxxxx Order Number, "B", "G", or other may indicate the specific type of order (dealer stock / customer order / sales bank /etc.) or where the order originated (Oldsmobile or dealer)

ANYONE KNOW?

It looks like the '68 Hurst/Olds are all "Kxxxxx" or "Lxxxxx"?
