The mods cannot read every thread and post made here - there is not enough of us and not enough time. We are all just volunteers. Therefore we often rely on others to help report objectionable behavior through the 'report post' system. Last night, it was reported for the first time, which drew our attention to it. I saw the thread the first day it was made and it was civilized then. Once disagreements like these start up they can explode in little time.

 

I think its a losing battle, and the differences between this site and ROP (just as an example) are becoming smaller and smaller. Same stupid comments, idiotic (and ironic) crybaby pics, same (partial) cast of characters even. Frankly, the whole conversation is a damn re-run anyway:

No, I won't report any of it. I've seen a few threads here that I felt could lead to no good (sometimes a moderator will even participate), and last time I commented, my head was bitten off. I try to avoid conflict myself, beleive it or not (not honesly what I come here for); sometimes I succeed, other times I fail.

Thing that really sucks is I get an E-mail notification every time this dumb topic is brought to the top. I like being notified for SOME threads...guess the solution is to unsubscribe from threads such as this one on an individual basis.

 

Eh, it was fun while it lasted. Today's a new day.
