Best members to buy parts from?

Just wondering who the senior members buy their parts from? If I need a part, who has good prices and prompt delivery? New members like myself would appreciate some input. Thanks in advance.

X2 on Fusick. If you are buying from members on this board. John (2blu442) and Eric (Jensenracing) are good guys. John has lots of Cutlass/442 stuff and it is probably a good thing he lives a long way from me. Otherwise I would buy too much.

Thumbs up

The title of the post suggests that he is looking for "members here on the board" that are reliable sellers. I'm fairly new here myself so I don't have any experience buying from anyone here yet.

However, I do sell a few items here such as the gauge and stereo housings based on the 68-72 8 track housing. Just sold a set of SSII's here. And I have an 8 track tape player for sale.

So, I'm gonna say.....ME !

Hi,
Yep. That's me. You probably saw those pics in the the post of the gauge and stereo housings for sale. Several people asked if I made other kinds of housings so I posted some pics of most all the housings I've done to date.

Don't want to steal the thread so back to your regularly scheduled programming..........

Who else here on the board have you guys had good dealings with?

Hey Guys: I'm a good guy to purchase parts from. If you need parts for a 1967 Delta 88 Convertible, come see me!!!
I don't want these parts to go to waste and I love searching and finding parts on-line. I haven't tallied-up how much my re-build is costing me yet, because I'm having too much fun. Some people say, You only live once. Tee Hee!

I'm just happy my 67 Delta 88 Custom Holiday Coupe is now street legal and we went for our first cruise today!!!

Pictures posted in the General Discussion Forum.

The member that has the part you are looking for is the best one to buy from!

I use OPGI. They have good stuff and service and prices are good. I heard that bluevista was a good guy to buy from.

Thanks.
I won't do you wrong but the only thing I've sold here are a few cruise control parts to Rob.
I think I ripped myself off too.

I've dealt primarily with John/2blu442 but most guys that have been around here awhile I would trust. John has clean northleft parts and I couldn't be happier with the stuff I constantly bother him for and get.
I wish I could remember what I need all at once but that's no fun. John is seeing if he has a high beam T-3 headlight around now.
I'm working on getting some raccoon infested '72 Cutlass parts. I have to repo the car first and those raccoons can be stubborn , they never give up the keys.

Not necessarily. I need very few parts to finish and the Lansing meet is fast approaching and I'll take my list with me.As always, deal with vendors (businesses or members) with the good reputations and don't forget to recommend them.(No one likes bad service.)

I've bought a few things from Paul, good stuff.

Also a few members I've bought items from are 70post, jhoppeolds, and MJAKS462. All items were as good as or better than represented.

Just look for anyone with a substantial post count, posts here regularly, has the part you need at the price you are willing to pay.

Thanks for all the tips! A report about American Autowire will be posted when I can total up the possible shortcomings.(Right now it DOESN'T look good, but I don't want to badmouth them until I'm sure it's as bad as it looks right now!) A replacement would take another week and I'm not keen on that.

I've used all the popular ones; Brothers, OPGI, Legends, etc... I find myself using Fusick more than others, although recently I've bought a lot from Original Parts Group.

The only company I dont recommend would be Tamraz, based out of Chicago. They're system and customer service is horrible.

Tip: always ask if part is in stock. Some companys will op not to tell you that the part is "out of stock" and you'll be waiting FOREVER to receive it. Happened to me with Tamraz (evil-bay).
