Baldor motor

Baldor motor

Today the VACU BLAST burned down
Thought it was a dust return or beads hose burst
SMOKED EN

In the FM I will try and fid VIN TAG for RPM 220V and ****

I have not dug into it yet. I would not be surprised as it is in a dusty environment. I am glad garage did not burn down! I shut it down as soon as I saw smoke. It never did trip / blow the breaker.....
My guess is it will be expensive to fix...

L 1402 so far have not been able to find on Baldor Catalog May be obsolete??

If you have an armature type shop locally they may be able to rebuild the motor for you.

Also, no need to get exactly same motor, as long as same size and power.

we needed a similar type motor at work, we found a compatible replacement at granger ours was a weird shaft too.

Spent the morning on the phone and found no direct replacement available.
Something close with adapter mount / base $600 But it "should fit" not very reassuring to my ears.
I did find a local shop that will look at the motor and repair for $300 or less was the estimate

I managed to get the motor and the "blower / impeller" section of the machine removed and so far cannot get thing apart. It is HEAVY

I would imagine price will just go up if I bring motor in like it is now.

Smoke Pumps usually cost about the same as replacement parts...
