Baby's in storage...

I put my Cutty away last weekend - and had frost on my truck this morning, so I guess the timing was just right. It was a slow year - thought I had an overheating problem, but no overheating on the 45 minute drive out to the storage garage. Still, probably will see a new rad in my future, or at least a re-cored rad. Got some new badges for the front end, but my seats are incredibly ratty. I don't think I can ignore them any longer. Still haven't tested that Olds radio I bought a few years ago, and haven't put that new steering wheel on yet. And then there's that body work that is starting to get very hard to ignore. And the exhaust manifold on the passenger side that wasn't properly fitted to the exhaust when I had the motor pulled and rebuilt. Should be a busy year next year...
Here she is on the right, from earlier this year:

Very Nice 68 Keith.
We put our Olds and Pontiac's away a few weeks ago now. Being just North of Toronto. We have had a few snow days with ground covering accumulation in the past few weeks along with many cold frosty mornings.
This summer seemed to go by rather quickly. A late start to spring up here and an early start to fall.
Although their were many nice days and weekend, it just seems to go by so quick these days.
Hope you had some time to cruise given the overheating speculation on some of them hot summer days and nights.
The Ottawa valley see their share of snow and freezing rain , Good idea to get your 69 in to a nice warm place to sleep before it ramps up.
Post some progress pictures over the winter if you get to them.
Hope you winter goes by quickly down east !
Cheers
Eric

One of the nice things about living in the South is the mild winters. There will be pleasant days over the next few months when I can take the car out, just not as many of them as there have been recently. That will make it all the more enjoyable when they do come around.

Thanks Eric. We can always find time for a bit of cruising between repairs!
I park my vehicle in a storage facility, so any work I do has to be on part I remove when I drop it off, so not much work I can do over the winder.
I guess I could pull the seats out for a winter recover...
Long winters here. I put her away in October, and pick her up in late April...
Cheers.
