Anyone in St. Louis area that could help?

Im currently looking into buying an Olds Cutlass convertible in St. Louis. I dont know anyone from the area and dont want to buy the car without someone looking at it and test driving it for me. This car is a replacement for my daughters Cavalier convertible that was totaled out by a taxi driver (who couldnt speak English.)
I currently do not have the address of the car but am waiting on a return call from the owner to get it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!
Tony

Are you considering one of the Cutlass Supreme W bodies (1990-1995)? It would be quite a jump to go from a Chevy Cavalier to an A body Cutlass of the late 60s / early 70s.

Wtony: Sorry, can't help w/the car for your daughter. Just wanted to mention that my wife's Miata was totaled by a driver that ran into the back of her car at a red light, in front of a policeman at the cross street (policeman drove off). Driver that hit her did not speak English, had no dirver's license, had no insurance, but DID have a STOLEN license plate from San Antonio. Juju got the license plate number, but obviously, did not do much good. Sort of gives you a bad attitude, if you know what I mean.

Yes its a 1995 that appears to be in very nice condition and has been garaged its entire life. Southern car as well. The miles are low and the price is decent, plus its what she wants. I just dont trust anyone to buy it without someone checking it out.
Its claimed to be a one owner, never hit or repainted, with a newer top.

You could always get a car fax report on it. That might be valuable for a newer car. If it is at a dealer lot I'm sure they could get the car fax for you.

Got one. It all looks good. Just want it looked over and test driven for any obvious problems that might have not been picked up or mentioned by the dealer.

Even if you can't get an "Oldsmobile Guy" to look at it for you I would suggest taking it to your local mechanic. Usually a car dealer will let you test drive the car and take it to a mechanic to check it out.

The problem is Im in Jersey, the cars in St. Louis. No test drives for me.
Iv got Gene from the Archway Olds chapter going to look it over tomorrow for me. He will be getting back to me by tomorrow night. If all is good we will be purchasing another Oldsmobile for the stable. I will post photo's of the car if all is well, and after we get it home.
Thank you all
