anyone installed a lokar acc pedal in a 64-67 cutlass?

I'm sick of the damn factory accelerator linkage. I cannot get WOT with my holly DP- and it just about killed me a week or so ago, when after adjusting it it would not return to the idle position (rod kept it idling at 2k!)

A friend of mine has the lokar accelerator pedal & cable kit on his 66 chevelle, and said it went in super easy, and solves all the problems (and dangers) associated with the rod linkage).

has anyone done this on their 64-67 cutlass/442? It is supposed to bolt right to the factory holes in the firewall- for chevelles... but we all know how different some stuff can be on our olds's... Just looking to see if anyone has done this before i spend $150 to get it here.

Thanks-
Ben

I'm very curious because here I was looking for a linkage accel pedal assembly. Maybe I have to rethink this?

Did some crawling around with a flashlight- and it looks like there are two bolt holes that come through the firewall around the stock pedal- that look identical to the holes for the lokar chevelle bracket- So i think i'll probably give it a shot. Just need to scrounge together some coin first as that stuff is expensive

Is it me, I don't see any exact kits to buy for a 67 Chevelle, where are you looking.
