Anybody with a 61 - 64 stick shift "Big Car"?
I need a BIG favor .
I'm setting up my '63 with original clutch linkage .
I need to know the length of the two springs in the illustration .
I need the outstretched overall length of each spring , with your foot off the clutch .
I realize this is a big favor to ask , as it would entail getting under the car . Or putting it on a lift .
It would be greatly appreciated though . As it would give me an idea of exactly where to install my spring mounts .
Thank you in advance .

Charlie,
Chris Bailey over on the Starfire FB page has two 4 speed Starfires, if memory serves me correctly. I'm not sure if he's part of this group as well, but I believe he is. Not sure what his handle is here, though.

He had 65 starfires , which had a different clutch linkage than 61 thru 64 .
Thanks anyway , though .
