RIP Chris Cornell, 1964-2017.

I liked the fact that Chris was no one-trick pony. Musician, chef, and car guy. And that 4-octave voice! that could go from angelic to a growl or roar on demand.

Cobain, Scott Weiland, Layne Staley and now Chris. The grunge godfathers are leaving us too quickly.

 

A friend of mine went to the show last night. They said he seemed 'off' and they felt it was nowhere near the performance they expected from Soundgarden.

Gone way too soon.....

 

Agreed. Sad, gone to young.

 

I'm really bummed. SG blew me away when I first saw them. Too bad he could not conquer his demons once and for all

 

It's sad a man is gone, but I never thought 90s rock was any good.

Undeniably one of the best.
" Getaway Car" with Audioslave has always been my one of my favorites , driving or blasting in the garage.
Very sad.
