The car was just listed a few hours ago on ebay. He seems to be legitimate with a 100% feedback and has been on there since '05. The facts in the listing are a little disconcerting, he may be a flipper who really doesn't know a lot about what he's selling. With a phone number search I found that he sold a nice '59 El Camino last fall on there and that vehicle was located in Mesa. AZ, maybe he moved or has places in Oregon and Arizona?

That 10K 2010 Camaro posted here yesterday and gone off Craigslist now had a phone number for a young girl who works at a production company in Texas. I wonder about that one. Has her pic and contact info on the company website, doesn't seem like a typical scammer to me? If that car really was being sold for 10K because it held bad memories somebody got a deal and others have egg on their faces.

Well, it looks like it is for real Blue... I struggle over the matching numbers 455 with E heads statement, and is it a clone or 1 of 912. OK, maybe a flipper who doesn't know much about Oldsmobiles. The Craigslist ad says Grants Pass Oregon, but area code 480 isn't familiar to me. Now that I go through all the ebay pictures there are shots where the background does look local. It will be interesting to watch the auction and see where things go.

Think they could move the rear
spoiler a little farther up the deck lid?

Wasn't this car at the last Mecum auction in California? I seen an H/O clone with a 4 speed go on the auction block but I can't remember if it sold or not. The announcers stated it was obviously a clone since it wasn't an automatic.

Whe they say "clone",
all bets are off.

69 H/O, with a 4 speed, cool.
A one of none.

It appears that it is for real. But there are many errors in this ad that made me think it was like the green 1970 Cutlass that kept showing up in different cities. Or the one that had pictures from a known car... that wasn't his!

Clear foo-paws?

Cloned using numbers matching 1969 442, with a 455 and E heads.
Correct ram air.
Full of desirable options like 3 spoke steering wheel.
This is 1 of 912 holiday hardtop coupes ever produced.

OK... it looks like this is someone flipping the car who is not familiar with Oldsmobiles. But when I first read the ad it looked to me like someone took information from other ads to invent this one. Just the four items above seem like blatant errors in an ad for a $36,000 car that looks this nice.
