I hope this seller is not known as a peddler of re-stamps, as one of our newer members here bought a 7040257 from him a few days ago.

 

The carb that this seller had for sale just recently had the same date as this one I believe. 350th day of 1969. These might be the same set of pictures.

 

What does tested on an engine simulator mean?

 

it means "pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! I am the Great and Powerful Oz!"

 

I think they put it On one of those long block mock up blocks and see how it looks !

I am unfortunately the unlucky buyer of this said Carb. The Carb re-listed for more and in my haste I pulled the Trigger. I have since had a good Friend go over the Carb and prove without a doubt that the Carb is not real. I am in the process of getting refunded, but it appears to be an up hill battle. I will let you all know the outcome. Thanks.

 

355 motor just means bored 10 over or is it 30 over
