Alternator rebuild

I have the original alternator from my 65 442 and would like to rebuild it, where is the best place to get rebuild kits and are they mostly made in China?

From a local electrical rebuilders shop if there is one in your area. There is one in central NJ so it's easy for me. They are very good and know the difference in parts quality.

Good luck!!!

I have only seen the individual repair/replacement parts for alternator/starter motor rebuilds, diode packs, brush holder/brushes, bearings, internal regulator, etc.

Take it apart and let me know what you need. Thank you tru blu 442. Kits are sold on ebay, but you may or may not get everything you need. As far as quality, the ebay parts are like the proverbial box of chocolates. You never know what you will get.
