That is going to be a very interesting revelation. Hopefully it will find far more usage than a grocery-getter if the torque numbers are true. The (ugly) TESLA starts ~$40K - I think most are going to sell in the $50K range. I'm guessing the new GMC Hummer will come in at about $65K-$75K (base model) w/ most selling in the near $90K-$95K range.

This is the vehicle that will save Hamtramak Assembly. GM is investing over $2 billion to modernize the plant to build electric vehicles. The reuse of Hummer is cute, Im sure they will hum as they drive by. Much better name than Volt or Bolt.

You will probably be able to hear the tires rumbling down the road on that truck sooner than the Hummmmm.

The Humvee was designed as the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) for the military. It wasn't until 92 that the H1 Hummer was available to the public. For a guess at where this electric Humvee is going all you have to do is look at the H3T.
