Has anyone discussed the Parts place rally pack for 1970-72 ? I was told that it is a exact reproduction. The set for under 500.00

My car had the ralley gauge but someone removed the tach and put a clock there. Since they only sell the repros as a pair, I bought those. They are very close to original on the face that you see once installed. The housings on mine were metal. The lettering is just (barely) slightly different and I also heard the tach needle is not exact (wider on the repro). However, mine worked and look well and I put in brighter 168 bulbs (versus 194) and it seems fine. I may do the painting upgrade previously mentioned but they don;t look bad as is with brighter bulbs. It is also possible the newer versions were upgraded with better painting by the Parts Place.

I sure hope they fixed that - mine were hideous! Even with 168's, no lettering was visible.
