Aftermarket Rally Pack wiring
I recently bought a Tic Toc Tach and it is an after market part. It has no part number on it that i can find. It has three terminals on the back, one very small and the other two fairly large. I cannot find any wiring diagram online so i would like to ask if anyone may have experienced this and know which terminal goes where? I think one to coil, one to ignition and one to ground but have no idea for sure. i would hate to ruin the gauge or worse destroy the wiring in the car or even burn the whole car to a crisp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Eric

If it looks anything like the original tic-toc-tac, here is a pic of how they are wired. The grey wire is for dash lights and attaches into the grey wire harness behind the dash, the brown wire is for your tach and it should have a 2 or 3 amp (don't recall which) amp in line with it and go to the negative side of your coil, and the orange is for continuous 12 power to run the clock. On the originals, the whole body of the unit is grounded to the framework of the dash.
