I have a SBO in my 69 with a CSR electric water pump. Manual steering. I can't seem to keep an alternator mounted in this car. When I bought the car it had the mondello bracket that mounts to the face of the alternator for the adjustment of the belt. It had two custom brackets that some made at the bottom and top of the alternator that went to the driver side head. It seems I can not mount this alternator solid with the way it's mounted. It continues to vibrate, loosen the belt, etc. it is just not sitting solid. Could you guys please show me some photos and what alternator mounts you have with an Electric water pump please. Who makes a nice alternator kit I can purchase, bolt up, and be done? Thanks in advance!
