AC/Kickpanel Seal on 64-67 cars
Trying to help out a friend of mine with a 66 442 AC car.
Water is leaking in through the pass side kick panel where the inside AC box joins with the kick panel.
According to the assembly manual there was a two peice gasket there.
one side sits on the kick panel flange, and the other sits on the clamp peice that holds the ac unit into the kick panel.
His was badly deteriorated & leaking- and then disintegrated when he took off the inside ac box.
Does anyone reproduce this? Can't find it at any suppliers.
What do people do to seal this area up? Really Really crappy design- i can see why they changed it in 68.
