98 -65 windows question
Hi om my 98 the driver doors window hits the rear window when both are closed.
This does that it,s difficult to open the door unless you take the door window down
a little.
Any adjustments to do ?

I checked the driver door window and it,s "hanging down" a little in the rear.
Maybe window guides worn or adjustment needed.
Should check if there are some Youtube video who shows the window in operation.
Any tip what part might be worn would be appreciated.

If you remove the door panel and water barrier underneath it, the bolts and screws to adjust the windows will be revealed.
Then you can adjust them however they fit best on your car. If I were adjusting your windows, I would start with the top two 7/16"'s bolts on the top rear of the door and move them forward a little bit, maybe 1/2" or so, then put the window all the way up and see if that gets you the clearance you need.
Also I posted a fairly long piece today about 65-66 big car windows. Maybe it will help you too.
If you need parts, I'd suggest Desert Valley Auto parts in Arizona. I'm not sure about pricing, but they should have what you need to make it work right.
Good luck

What about the horizontal bar on the inside of the door that the roller rides in? It is adjustable on a Cutlass. Does the full size car have this same bar? Lowering the bar lowers the front of the glass, thus leveling out the rear.

The full size cars have that cam channel.
On big cars The rear bolt position is fixed. The front bolt is in an adjustable channel.
Lowering the front bolt in its channel raises the top front corner of the front windows. Raising the front bolt lowers the top corner a bit. Corner up/down travel is maybe 5/16’s to 3/8”’s
i use the front bolt mostly for leveling the top of the window to get a consistent glass-to-roof rail seal tension front to rear.
