84-85 delta frame

84-85 delta frame

are the 4door and 2door frames the same? I found a hole parts car on cl with all the parts I need, I have a 2door, its a 4door, I believe there all 116 inch wheel base but not shure???

2dr and 4dr use the same frame except station wagons.

The only references I've found to 84/85 frames all say 116". Theoretically on that basis the 2 door and 4 door should be on the same frame, with the only difference being the doors and rear quarters design.

My reply was not based on theory but info listing in a Hollander Interchange manual. I do have a six foot tall library of automotive interchange books.\\

Alan all I wanted to do was to post factual info for him as he is looking to purchase a parts car to repair his car with.

Not the same. 98's have a longer wheel base. All the front clip(fenders, hood, bumper, header/grill, core support will work on the 88/98's).
