8 track belts?

I thought finding belts for an 8 track player would be easy but I can't find them. Anyone know where I can get them for a 69-72?

I bought some off e-bay several
years ago. Don't recall the sellers name.
Have you checked there?

Right, ebay...the seller's name is Randy, he's from down South someplace his ID is W-30 olds or some thing like that. I first bought from him about 15 years ago. He was selling repro 8 track rear brackets, the braided ground wire, and also repairs the cases. I bought 4 belts from him a few months ago. I'll see if I can dig up his ID or email.

He contacted me back. I will be getting 3 sets from him and hopefully a rotor switch. I have 3 apart that i am servicing. One is going to be a pain. I have to replace the rotor switch and it has 16 wires soldered to it.

lol, I think it would be funny going to the parts store and asking for a set of 8 track belts. The kids behind the counter would ask what an 8 track was

Try measuring an old belt and check with MCM electronics (or such suppliers) to see if they have a suitable replacement. I bet they do. I got a bunch from them for other projects I was working on, including some in-dash 8-track and cassette decks.
