74 W30 Value

Hello all,

I ran across a 74 H/O W30. It is supposed to have the original 455 and is an automatic. Looks like it has a few options (i.e front swivel seats, PS, PB, PW, PL, A/C. What is the value of these cars restored?

I'll look up my old car price guide later, but I would say a perfectly restored 74 442 W-30 would be worth some forty thousand dollars.

Thanks all, and I guess I should have been more clear. I was asking for value after it is restored.

Anyone else what to chime in? Brian is saying $20k but they're not selling and Koda says $40k. That's a huge difference.

The car is not in great shape, not sure of the miles, but is supposed to be all original.

Not a huge difference. He said 20k for nice, and I said 40k for perfect. That tracks.

For a not-low miles original, in decent shape, eh, 15?

JMO but $40K sounds like a big # for that. FWIW, Hagerty lists a #1 for $30.3K and a#3 for $14.5K. The highest I saw on a Mecum search was $26K

74 w30

Although these cars are rare , Perfect ones rarely sell for more than $ 25,000.00 , unless one of the actual track cars . Most parts are impossible to find and if you do they will cost . In my experience there are only a handful of people out there willing to put the money into the W30 .

I ve restored two in my life time. And yes parts are hard to get and the restoration cost are too high. I sold mine for 16k took a lost. Love the cars the black ones are rare and the more hurst option the neater the car is.

You can have $40K into one of those cars and you will be fortunate to get $29K out of it if you find the right buyer.

The market is coming up on these cars but none will bring more than low $30Ks for a while yet. This assumes a #2 or better car.
