Is it hard to install body mounts if the body is not off the frame.If so where are they located on the body thanks.

 

My son is getting ready to repaint his Chevelle. So we have been doing all the thing we can do to get it ready to go to the shop. He said, off all the things we have done, replacing the body mounts has been the easiest. Did one side at a time, just used a floor jack. Do need to take the inner fenders out.

 

Two in the front under the cowl as said and spaced out at different points back to the rear. The Chassis Service Manual has a frame and body mount section with all the info and illustrations.
