72 CS power trunk button/switch

72 CS power trunk button/switch. Anyone have a photo of the correct button and where in the glovebox it is to be located? Also schematic or drawings of the proper routing of the wire and clips to secure in the trunk? Much appreciated. Would like to buy the correct switch/button.

You need the yellow button with the black edges, I believe. Here is a thread I made when I installed one on my '70 - only the switch is different. There is a dimple left of your glove box on the dash metal that shows the center of the hole to be drilled for the switch.

Here is the dimple where the switch will go

On the trunk release, I'm not sure if yours should say "Trunk", "Trunk Release", or be blank. I'm guessing a member would have an extra if you advertised for in in Parts Wanted. Good luck! It's an easy project.

I could be wrong but I thought 71/72 were black buttons with black surround that say trunk?

I've seen both black and yellow buttons, and I think I've seen that discussed here as well. Was it the manufactured location or just a supplier difference? I'm not sure there was a final consensus. I know there are some that say "TRUNK" twice, some once, some "TRUNK RELEASE" - but I'm not sure what is actually the correct one.
