This months Hemmings Muscle Machines has a feature of a 1972 442 convertible. Its titled Beater to Beauty in 3 months. Thorton's did the renovation. Its an awesome job. The beater is in way better condition than my car is but the end result is great. Its the same color as my new Cutlass i acquired. Makes me want to add the OAI hood. I know many are added these days but really, can you blame anyone, they are truly one of the nicest looking hoods ever designed. I'll add the cutout bumper and the OAI hood (a cheap one) and keep the rest of the car Cutlass. Won't happen for awhile (5 years at least, I'm guessing after twins graduate college — ok, maybe 10 years after I finally start catching up) . Anyway here is the link. Gorgeous car and they left the 350 in there which was cool.
