We will have this car at Homecoming June 14th and then at Eyes on Design on the 15th. The Hemmings guys have been great to work with and next month they will have a restoration profile on it. They are doing a great job keeping the Oldsmobile brand out there for people to appreciate.
Hope to see everyone at Homecoming

Thanks for your efforts in preserving this & all your other fine cars. Your fleet of Oldsmobile cars is impressive. Keep up the good work.

On a somewhat related but a different take on this car back in the late '80's some one in my area had a 79 Toro on a Cutlass G body frame/drivetrain that looked close to being a factory produced car.

Hemmings ignores the first generation 442s. Next time you see Jeff Koch tell him Olds made 442s from 64 to 67. Maybe he can find a few to do articles on.

There maybe a restoration profile on a 67 442 convert I am helping the owner restore, not been confirmed they want to do a story on but I did bring to his attention so now it is up the editor I guess.
The good news out of all of this is they are showing interest in Oldsmobiles.

I'm sure if there's a quality 1964-67 car on the Left Coast, he'd chase it. But the due diligence also is the responsibility of the Oldsmobile community to find good cars, restore them correctly, and take them out to shows for people to see.

I know of many 64-67 442s out there deserving of being in HMM. They are at all the OCA sponsored shows. In 11 years of publication HMM has never featured a 65 or a 67. They havent ran an article on a 64 in 8 years and the last 66 was 5 years ago.

I met Jim Donnelly at the 08 OCA Nationals in Dearborn. Talked to him and showed him some every nice 64-67 cars. Not one ever made it into HMM.
