72 350 intake question

Hello - just curious, can you tell me about my “Oldsmobile” intake manifold? I haven’t seen any with the word Oldsmobile actually on the manifold.

The information below is from Chris Witt's detailed archive. It shows the #16 intake manifold with "OLDSMOBILE" is a 1973-1976 application. Note that it has an EGR valve flange on the drivers side exhaust crossover.

There will be a casting number on the runner behind the carb. pad., Google that number, or post it here, and you will get the original application..

By the way, your oil pressure hose is leaking. You should swap that out for the brass hose, or better yet, a braided steel hose and fittings.

That looks like an electrical sensor to me in the picture and the leak could be the sensor or the intake manifold front seal.

The intake is 1973-newer. I'm guessing it has a boss for the EGR valve on the driver's side.
