I want to replace my carpet, just want to make sure I don't screw up removing the floor shifter. It looks pretty straightforward, but you never know. I think you just have to remove the cotter pin, slide off the cable, remove the clip near front, then unbolt it. After replacing the carpet, I just do the reverse.
Any hints or suggestions?
