71 cutlass glove box lock issues

71 cutlass glove box lock issues
I’ve been through the previous post regarding the same ... I’m assuming the lock is in the unlocked position (not positive) the key that I have will not turn the lock .the cylinder key position is horizontal .. looking at the lock I cannot depress the tab to release the cylinder I’m not seeing the release as described in the pictures only the “no button seen “smaller tab .... can anyone shed some light, I’m trying to remove lock to get a key cut
