71 Cutlass Fuel Issues

Out in the 71 today and she died on me. I was cruising and it felt like I wasn't getting enough gas in the car so I put my feet down on it, she started to pick up speed and she died on me. I pulled the lines and I wasn't getting any fuel up to the carb. So I dump a bit in the carb so I can get it back home and see what was wrong. After letting her sit for a bit tried to start the car again and it would not start. I have eldebrock performer intake, Holley 750 duel feed carb, C heads, on a 455 block. Any suggestions to the issue? I'm guessing manual pump when out because I'm not getting anything to the manual pump, what do you all think?

I agree with you, your pump probably went out. They are cheap and you can get them from a local auto parts store.

It was the mechanical pump, I replaced it with an electrical one and she works great now. Thanks for the imput.
