'71 Cutlas Convertible
'71 Cutlas Convertible
Guys, needing some advice. I have a '71 Cutlas Convertible. Almost all the sheet metal replacement is done (I would say 95% or better done), New complete floor, trunk pan, both rear quarters, The floor and trunk are all coated with Lizard skin. Fenders, doors and trunk lid are rust free. It is ready to take off the frame and to refinish the frame and install a complete Classic Performance tubular suspension with new everything including C5 brakes up front. I also have a new ram air hood, bumpers and gas tank. Lots of other used parts and 2 sets of side glass. Top frame is good. I have the original 10 bold rear end, an freshly rebuilt Chevy 12 bolt with new Moser axles, disc brakes, and posi. I have a 455 Olds short block with Summit speed-pro forged pistons, Lanati Voodoo cam and lifters, and lots of other goodies, professionally rebuilt and balanced. Just need heads, intake, push rods, and rockers. .No transmission. I am almost 82 years old, and at this stage of life, I do not think that I will ever get enough money to finish the car. I would like to sell it to someone, not give it away. I can get the frame refinished and install all the new suspension if necessary. Any suggestions as to how to dispose of this car would be appreciated.
If you would like to list it in the monthly newsletter of the North Texas Oldsmobile Club (NTOC) send me a PM. I will give you my email address. You could then draft a listing and I will get it in the newsletter. There is no cost.
