71 442 deck spoiler

What, if any, material (gasket) goes between the deck and the spoiler up rights? I have received my wing from the parts place in a large order but the mounting hardware kit was left out. I called and they quickly sent me one but it is missing a nut and there were 4 flat plastic strips 8-10" long x 1/8" with a 1/2" nipple in the middle. (Not sure how these are applied) Two of these were broken also. They have been very helpful but they are out of spoilers and hardware at this time. Body in primer and blocking now.Going to paint very soon and want to shoot spoiler and accessories all at once. Anyone a guru on deck spoilers here ? Thanks

From the factory the spoilers did not use gaskets.

Thanks for the info. So what is the best way to insure that the deck lid does not leak where the mounting studs go through the deck lid?
