Yeah to a person who wants a posi and keep the highway gears. Not as much demand as a 3 series carrier but I would keep on the shelf for a potential future install. I just switched from a 2.56 open to a 3.08 posi. Hopefully by the end of the month will get to take her for a spin again.

Are you talking about an entire rear end or just the posi carrier (should be casting #726)? An entire rear end is always worth something.

With the appropriate ring gear spacer that posi carrier can be used with performance gears. The spacer allows 3 series gears to be used on the 2 series carrier.

Yes, there is always someone needing a highway gear. Turnpike Cruiser.

If you want to sell, I know someone who may want to upgrade to that.

That's the corporate 8.5 which is in demand. I'm trying to remember... could you put a ring spacer on it and put in lower gears? May not be good for the racetrack, but I've put a lot of street miles on a Chevy 12 bolt with a spacer and no problems yet.
