7042257 carb?

7042257 carb?

Was there ever one? I know there was a 7041257 for '71 but can't find anything on this carb for '72?

ck the PN and CS Manuals, but I am pretty sure that by 1972 we had
'250 SB
'251 RWD BB
'252 FWD BB
'953 BB MT incl W30

why the jump from 2xx to 9xx is a mystery

Are you saying that you have a carb stamped 7042257?

One source listed a 7042253 possibility, but that source was not the CSM or factory PN Manual

Someone told me they had one with that number, I said it was probably 251. But we'll see
