70 W30 4 speed car maybe ?

Saw this car for sale claims to be #'s matching engine and 4 speed , the rust in quarters is pretty bad though.

https://omaha.craigslist.org/pts/5641615006.html

All they say is ...

"70 olds 442 cutlass body near rust free. Some bubbling over and behind rear wheel. Numbers matching engine and 4 speed trans. Posi rear with sway bar, boxed lower control arms and rally wheels."

no asking price mentioned

All I noticed was in one of the pictures besides being a heater only NON-A/C 4 speed 442 was one thing.. I see the 1/4 return fuel line next to where the 3/8 pick up is from when they dropped the tank.

Is it right that one of the ID's for W30 4 speed (non-A/C) and W31 (non-AC) cars in general had these fuel lines which I normally relate with other V8 A/C GM A body cars but yet my wagon does not have it.

So whats the shot that that and a Lansing VIN would make it a W30 based on that alone ? I wonder if it has the OAI stuff ?

If I'm reading the Product Information Manual correctly (section 8, page 105), all A-bodies with a big block used the return line. Also the W-31s (manual or automatic). Also those with 2-bbl 350 and A/C and automatic trans. I can't vouch for the accuracy of this.

Yeah , saw that cowl stuff. Heck seems every A body I get has that history . My 68 GTO and my Rallye too but neither had frame damage from it. Just cosmetic fender bender collateral damage. Even if not W30 I guess it's just matter of what $$$ will buy it to judge it. Still a worthy build if truly # matching drivetrain 4 speed and 3.42 ? Posi 3.23/3.91 ?

The "rust-free" means the rust is free to move about at its own will.

One of our members looked at the car and , no interior, no front clip and had C heads among other stuff (wrong wheels) . Way too high at $6500 being rusty and incomplete , it needed floor pan work too besides 1/4's . Sad. It did have original 4 speed transmission and block maybe. Leaves the thought open though. Could it have been a W30 that was robbed of the F heads and W-455 intake, and the front clip with OAI, red inners and stuff in the past then it got the engine pieced back together with C heads, headers and aftermarket intake ?
