I'll bite what's the scam? According to the seller matching numbers engine and trans (ow), f heads etc.. The typical no docs W-30.... I'm not seeing scam, there doesn't appear to be any deceit ...a no docs w30 is a 442, if the ow trans has the car VIN you've got a winner.

No scam.
Green Green isnt by any means rare.
Where's the money shots though? 42 pictures of the interior and trunk stickers. Show me metal...glass channels, rockers, seams, frame, floors etc...Absence of which tells me it's fairly rusty. Big difference in dollars if all that's clean & unrotted. Like 15-20K big.

It looks relatively unmolested. Great deal at ~12K, couple 3-4K more for a stick as shown with zero build sheet/line card/window sticker. Just one man's point of view.

Have to inspect it in person. That is the only way Id bid on something like this.

Check the motor shot , imagine it would be hard to start with head bolts with 1/2 " gap ,, probably real but very misleading add to actual condition in my opinion .

Are those extra holes in the air cleaner snorkel correct? I’ve seen them with the one hole in the bottom but I’ve never seen the slots and holes on top?

Looking at it more, doesn’t look like the right air cleaner base at all?

Those seat belt buckles are awfully crusty looking. Gotta wonder how they got that way, assuming they are the originals.
14" snap-on center cap wheels (spare is bolt-on center cap), but I guess that's a minor detail in the overall picture.

The freshly painted engine with no belts and missing bolts looks like it was mocked up for the pictures. It's way cleaner than the rest of the car. No meention of any engine work being done so why would it have a fresh paint job! Not saying it's a scam but I'd sure do my due diligence before plunking down any hard earned cash.

The alternator bracket appears to be from an a/c car. The turn signal lever has overspray on it. He doesn't state who actually owns the car, him or his "buddy". Although he states many w-30 facts. Much of this particular car is conjecture. Only been on the road 4 years, 51,000 miles, 1 owner and the carb doesn't match among other things? House address in a nationwide ad picture? Sorry, seems like a hit and run to me.

The alternator is on the non-AC side. I wouldn't post my specific location either...rather a general zip code area. Craigs and Fleabay allow this.
But who knows right. Always take the ride and inspect in person or send an inspector to look for you before spending any cash.
We are so suspicious nowadays and for a dam good reason. Plenty of A-holes on this ball of dirt more so than not IMO. If a "legit" car shows up everyone is gun shy...INCLUDING ME. Shameful society we live in today.

Wow, a solid 11K over worth...sight unseen. Maybe someone went and looked? Still a crazy number IMO. Another 110, 120 and it will be just like new.
