70 cutlass s body side molding
You can get the insert pieces from most vinyl/plastic shops. They will also ask you why you don't just replace everything with stick on like what GM went to pretty much standard in 1974?
Check the web for the stainless parts. It is exactly the same for 1970 - 1972 so you can expand your search. These come up fairly often on ebay.
I had these body side moldings on my 72 Cutlass S from new, and they turned into a real pain in the ****. I found that they aren't properly positioned for countering the effects of most door dings. They were just door candy and they started blistering the paint from behind by the 6 year so I took them off and put stick em type on until I restored my car. Now it NEVER gets parked anywhere close to another door.
I just saw your post. I will be listing a complete set of door panel trim that I removed from my 72 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. All trim and rubbers are in great shape. I am missing (2) end pieces only. The stick on molding works fine, but original trim is hard to find. I filled in the holes and went with the plain look instead of the side trim appearance. Check out Ebay in the next few days if you still need a set. Gregg
