70 Cutlass added to the barn lot.
as always it is full of bondo but has some real good parts. the pictures look much better than it is. they told me that they were putting the carb on a couple years ago and dropped a nut down the intake so never tried to start it since. they tell me the carb was new and not yet ever ran but who knows. they said they didn't know enough to try to get the nut out. has power disc brakes, deluxe seat belts, A/C, and buckets. looks like the passenger door may be usable and the core support looks to be good. i have yet to get the trunk open. who knows what is in there.

Man, you find all the neatest toys! Good thing you got space to put it. What kind of condition are the seats, and how much would you want for them? This is one of those nefarious column shift bucket cars!!! Kind of what I'd like to do to mine (maybe)

now i have 2 extra sets of 70/72 +1 69 bucket seats. i am going to sell one set but not sure what set i will sell. i have 3 people interested in a set so i have to figure out what i am doing.

i think they are American Racing Wheels outlaw 1. the center caps have American racing on them but maybe someone just put those center caps on them. would there be a casting on the back side? i don't know much about aftermarket wheels. it came with the original SSII also.

1970 only came with the pearl interior,so if it looks like a true white, then it might have gotten reupholsetered at some point on the past.
If the headrests are perfect,I'd be interested in the whole seats, just to get the headrests.
Anything that was available around here,I have already either parted or restored.A friend of mine who was a state policeman up here, moved to southern Virginia about 10yrs ago,and has found some cool stuff while driving around. He either parts it,or hauls it up here.

That is what I thought but the interior does look very white to me too. Yes those white headrests are of value, hard to find. I'd take white even if they aren't pearl.

they are pearl. i just compared them to my 72 white buckets. i have no idea if they were ever recovered but the backs were covered with vinyl. the headrests look good other than the plastic flap under them. most of the plastic parts are not that great.

still not sure what i am going to do. the back seat would also be nice for a driver. this is one of those deals that if i sell them i will find a perfect car to put them in but if i keep them i will never find that car.

to tell the truth, i have had so many people wanting them i am not sure how to handle it. not to mention not knowing what to ask for them or if i want to sell them. i feel i should sell the other set i have and keep these but haven't decided yet.
