Wow, Must be it is quite humid in Houston Tx. That looks like a Michigan car that was stored in a field with a tarp over it for 30 yrs. Very sad...BUT! at least it's still here and not made into something else....yet....

The whole point of "numbers matching" is a claim of originality. This car has non-original repro red inner fenders, 442 grills, W25 hood, an aftermarket carb (note where the fuel line goes under the air cleaner), aftermarket calipers, a likely repro W27 cover, and the obvious later intake. It's POSSIBLE this really is an SX with the 2bbl L33 motor and the later 4bbl intake was added, but so far nothing corroborates that.

Woof!, That is a lot of rust. It goes to show that “Texas car” is NOT code for rust free. Not a restoration in my opinion at any cost. I think that owner would be more likely to meet their target in parts.
