69 vs 70 cutlass hood

I thought I was working on a 70 hood after reviewing the catch it appears it's actually 69.
Can someone verify?

Thanks, Joe.

I am confused that some hoods show 69-70 compatible.
Are those using hood pins?
Doesn't look like the standard latch would work without changes to the core support.

You either need to modify the core support or the underside of the hood to interchange them. There's a lot of incorrect info in vendor application lists.

Most of the 69-70 "compatible" hoods are all fiberglass OAI reproductions and do not have any provisions on the underside for a factory style latch.

So I have this other hood which better be 1970. (since I just stripped it)
Latch looks correct.
The question is did these hoods ever come from the factory with the hood pin setup shown?

The hood pins are not original, but the latch is correct. You could weld patches over the hood pin holes or you could cut the latch area from the 70 hood and weld it into the 69 hood.
