My '69 Toronado gas tank is currently in the shop going through the ReNu process that many of you, I'm sure, know about. Now I would like to add a new sending unit and read in some older posts that the ones being sold for the '71-'72 Toronados (and early 70's "88's") can be used with some alteration on the return vent tubes.....just wondering if that can be confirmed by any of you today. At the very least, taking a chance with one of these from Auto Zone units would not be too costly to risk, I guess.
