Oldsmobile did not (except two or three A-body verts and I doubt you have one of those Hursts.)

Not from the factory. The largest engine factory installed in the Cutlass S in 1969 was a 350. The 442s only got a 400 motor that year, and the Hurst/Olds is the only Olds A-body to get a 455 in 1969. Many people have swapped in a 455, but it wasn't factory available or installed.

Oh, and of course THIS information on the web is MUCH more accurate and believable than all that other information on the web.

By the way, welcome.

If you're asking if it's possible to be a 4 speed, the answer is yes. As long as it came with a 350. I don't think you could get a 400 in a Cutlass S in 69, only a Vista Cruiser or 442

Just so there is absolutely no fuzz on this, here's the page from the 1969 factory brochure with the available engines. The Cutlass S line is a little more than halfway down. There were exactly four available engines in the Cutlass S, one six and three different 350s: the 155 HP I6, the 250 HP 350 2bbl, the 310 HP 350 4bbl, and the 325 HP W-31.
