69 cutlass convertible wants ram air

I am considering a ram air set up for my 69 cutlass. Frankly for nothing more than the looks. If it functional, that's a surplus, if not; it's no deal killer.
Are all parts readily available in repop? And exactly what are the components? (Not the internal stuff like the cam.)
Would they be labor intensive to install?
Thanks always for you guys willing to put up w/some of my crazy dreams & notions!

Are you wanting the under the bumper scoops and hoses, or the ram air hood? The Parts Place sells everything, along with other vendors. The scoops under the bumper aren’t hard to install, I don’t know if detailed instructions are included if you buy the stuff as a kit. I used drawings and measurements from the assembly manual when I did mine.

Bumper scoops and hoses, dual snorkel air breather for sure...no hood. Wondering if I was missing any major component parts?

Do you have any pictures of the before and after on your car?

I had this on my 68 with a BB. It was a fun car.

Parts aren’t cheap, hardest part of install is locating & drilling the holes in fender liners, other than that it’s easy. We installed ‘68 OAI in kid’s red ‘70 & he loves it. He feels there is a clearly noticeable difference with it & hates to disconnect it in the winter. Car is driven 24/7/365 since ‘09, had booties made to close scoop openings for winter, unhook one hose @ air cleaner & 4 General Altima Arctic snows w/ snap on SS2’s & it’s ready for whatever Mother Nature sends Connecticut’’s way. Obviously most won’t have that to deal with.

Parts =
Air Cleaner, PCV Plumbing (PCV likely no issue on ‘69)
Scoops & Brkts
Hoses, Clips, Clamps

This is the first time I've ever seen a Cutlass with that luggage rack. Was that a GM Accessories option back in the day? I kinda like it, just because it's so damn unique.

Most of the 68-69 OAI parts are available reproduction through OPGI, Fusick, Year One etc...You can buy parts individually as needed or as a mostly complete kit.
If you didn't already know this, there is a significant difference between 68 & 69 air cleaners and scoops.
