I have a friend with a 69 442 looking to install a 70 hood. I have seen the 70 hoods on 69 cars but never owned a 69. What needs to be changed or modified if anything? He seems to be having trouble with the latch and related pieces.

if i recall, the only mod's i had to make was cutting the latch area to accept the 70 style latch into the core support. if i can find pics, i will post...good luck...it sure changes the look on a 69!
