My heater fan stays on when the selector is all the way left in the off position. With the key in accessory the fan runs and drains the battery quickly. Is this and issue with the heater/AC control unit or something else?

Most likely the high blower relay is stuck on. Will the blower motor change speeds with the dash switch?

 

Yes, the blower changes speeds with the switch. Is this relay under the dash ?
