69 442 dashpad

This one has got me scratchn my noggin.
I have the dash out on the kitchen table
and cannot figure out how to pull the a/c
vents out of each end. Is there a trick that
I am missing?
Would it be explained in detail in one of the
factory books? Thanks for any help with this
one guys, Adam.

There are bolts on the inside of each vent if you look in it you'll most likely need a light to see them there's one on top and bottom.

Adam, I don't remember if the 68-69 are the same as 70-72, but here's how they're held on. Two phillips screws that you see through the vent flaps, shine a flashlight in and you'll see them diagonal to each other. Then the vent grill comes out the front, and the duct work goes out the back. John
