'69 Cutlass/442 Dashpad - AC and Non-AC
'69 Cutlass/442 Dashpad - This is for an AC and Non-AC car (Non-AC cars used a filler plate in the center dash vent which I may be able to get at an extra cost).
>Overall this is a very nice pad...no cracks, dents (other than one VERY SMALL "divot" on the P side near the vent...see pics), etc.
>Originally blue in color...hasn't been painted, etc. Easy enough to prep and paint whatever color you want. I've scrubbed it very well a couple times with a good cleaner, water, etc. so no heavy duty cleaning will be needed to prep it for paint.
>I have the black plastic gauge "bezels" that go with this dash as well...they are nice and I've stripped and cleaned them. They should be shot with a couple coats of SEM Landau Black (can provide pics of these).
I can provide additional pics, details, etc via PM or email (for pics).
$250 + shipping (Fedex ground) from 78757. I have a heavy duty box already made up for it...just needs some end flaps made up before packaging.
Payment by regular check or MO...no paypal.
Thanks

No, not like an original. Top surfaces are harder and I'd have to get it down and take a look/feel on the face of the pad. No damage, however...no cracks, splits, (and no repaired/hidden damage areas), etc. This is a paint/dye candidate and the pics are as it looks after scrubbing and drying....no "armor all", etc slathered on it to make it more photogenic.
I can paint/dye it black at an extra cost (SEM Landau Black and adhesion promoter....no spray cans).
Have some room on price as it sits.

Mark - I'll pull it out of its storage box tomorrow and go over it thoroughly and pm you with details, answer questions, more pics (PM me with your email address for pics), etc.
You've apparently never got one of my packages before.....I don't like broken parts either (like the perfect '70 F85 F85 dashpad I bought off ebay years ago....which arrived thrown in a crappy box with some newspaper for padding and yes...broken up in multiple places...what a waste/joke!).
PM your zipcode as well and I can check Fedex when I figure out the packaging/dimensions/weight. I've shipped complete and restored '70 dashpad assemblies before via Fedex and they arrived unscathed.
I'll likely err on the side of a larger package VS. a low-profile package and will absorb some of the resulting shipping costs as well.
Thanks

No - that's why I "TTT'd" it. Guy didn't want to worry with shipping. It'll ship just fine and I have a very durable box made up for that purpose. I've shipped much larger (and more delicate at that) items in my boxes/packaging and haven't ever had a problem with damage. Insurance is cheap as well and it'll be insured as well (I ship Fedex ground).
